Guest guest
why can't you get Armour one grain tabs? I take 2X 120mg tabs. Gracia i wanted to give a quick update to my armour delima. after running out of 3 grain tabs the pharmacy compounded it for me. can i just say yuck. i am feeling worse and worse everyday. hypo sypmtoms are eye pain, unclear skin, headaches, insomnia (even tho i'm super sleepy), low energy and more. My doc won't be in til Febuary. Guest guest
Hi CW, I haven't used any compounded meds. but I am thinking about it for my cytomel if I can't get the exact dose I need. But I have a question for you if you don't mind. What is unclear skin? Guest guest
Hey Crystal, I agree with Gracia, I would get regular Armour in 1 grain tabs, and then triple it. Guest guest
I keep getting breakouts. Sucks. I'm not sure what to use on my skin, it seems nothing is working to keep it clear. It probably doesn't help that my hormones fluctuate so much with breast feeding my DD who is 13 months. I just began ovulating again. I look like a 15 year old. Wonder if I get some topical iodine if that would help???? Gracia, Sam any recommendations on what kind???? cw -- Re: compounded armour Hi CW, I haven't used any compounded meds. but I am thinking about it for my cytomel if I can't get the exact dose I need. Guest guest
I tried proactive as a teenager, but it discolored my skin. My skin isn't that horribly bad, just been getting breakouts. I think I've been drinking too much pop too ): Also, I want to start trying products that are so toxic maybe from miessence. ANyone tried their products? -- Re: compounded armour Have you tried Proactive. My DD uses it and it really does her skin real good..her skin in even translucent now. She 27 with 2 kids.. I use MD Forte' from the dermatologist office but you can get it online for less. I go online now to get it. But if it's breakouts then you should give the proactive a try.. It doesn't cost as much as the MD Forte'. Bev > > I keep getting breakouts. Sucks. I'm not sure what to use on my skin, it > seems nothing is working to keep it clear. Guest guest
Hi Crystal, Hang in there...it's probably hormones. One thing that I noticed before I gave up dairy, I would break out all of the time. Once I gave up dairy, my skin barely ever breaks out. Not sure if you eat dairy or not. Guest guest
Isn't it something that it would be great for one person & bad for another... \ BEv > I tried proactive as a teenager, but it discolored my skin. Guest guest
thanks for the info on that if it stops working for my DD I'll tell her about it but there's no since until then cause she won't believe me since it's working for her now....ya know.. BEV > > I work for a derm and we have a lot of proactive treatment failure patients that come to us begging for an alternative. I haven't seen the long term success of proactive- apparently it can work for awhile- but once the person develops a tolerance to the ingredients- it stops working. the strength of the main ingredient benzyl peroxide is not even prescription strength. > nancie >
