Hello All-

I am new to this, but I have gained info and courage from you. I have MS and started LDN on New Year's Eve. New Years Day was one of the best days I have ever had. But after that I have been having more symptoms. It is my understanding that one can get 'worse' for a while. My Dr. says I won't know for two or three months how it is working. I guess my real question is about mixing it oneself. I can get the 50 mg. pills for $2, and I cannot afford to pay to have it mixed. I know that some people mix it themselves. I used distilled water. Will someone who is mixing it themselves reassure me. Please do not refer me to websites that have 'lots of info on self mixing' unless you are EXTREMELY specific, because I can never find my way around a big website with lots of options.

I tried to start on 3 mg, but I may be taking closer to 4 mg. as my measurements of the water were a little off. I had two nights of sleep disturbance, and then sleep fine. BUT I have Restless Legs Syndrome and take meds for that. The RLS is one of the main reasons I started LDN. I really want to get OFF the RLS meds.

Any suggestions or encouragement will be appreciated.

Lynda

I mix mine myself and find it to be easy as pie! :)

I asked my local pharmacy for a 50 mL liquid medicine bottle and

syringe dispenser. They gave me them free. I explained that I was

adding water to medicine to make smaller dose.

I put one pill in the bottle. Fill bottle to 50 mL line with bottled

water. Allow to dissolve. Before use, shake bottle. Use syringe to

measure 3 mg - 4.5 mg (depending what you need) at night-time before

bed. Store in refridgerater.

It is really easy!

I'm jumping in here. You have to get the 50 mg naltrexone pill in order to do this. I don't know where the other person is getting her pills.

Maybe she can tell you that.
