Guest guest
I use to spend from April to November on a Boat or at the marina in the sun. I always had a dark tan. So maybe we need the vitamin D from other sources than the sun. Guest guest
Yes, the more sun you get, the darker you get, and the less light then gets through to the skin to manufacture Vitamin D. It could also do with equatorial countries having better diets, ie less red meat, more fish, and salt is expelled from the body much more rapidly in equatorial regions Good theory, but not proven. Sun does make you feel good, but for us Caucasians it carries a high risk...melanoma! The best sources of vitamins are no doubt Nature (Fish oils, if you can get it mercury and DDT free, Flax seed, borage seed, even some hemp seeds!..non-cannabinoid of course! provide GLA, an oil also implicated as good in MS, as well as other conditions..some brands of Evening Primrose oil are provided on the Health system in Ireland. Omega 3 oils, and omega 6 seem to play a good part in nerve growth/function, how much is still a big question ----- Original Message ----- From: Kathy Penrose Cc: Hi everyone Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2004 4:27 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Sunlight I use to spend from April to November on a Boat or at the marina in the sun.
