Guest guest
I just read a post about mono and strep. That was me as a kid. I wonder if this is another common ms link, or just coincidence. I had mom in 5th grade and many incidents of strep.
Guest guest
Many MSers went through Bar Epstien in England it goes by another name but here is known as Mono most frequently. Several people who go through this immune nutty illness end up with some sort of illness. I think in many cases it may get missdxed. I had strep every year of my life into my teenage years to the point I could pick up the phone tell my GP it’s here again and she didn’t have to even see me because she knew I knew it was so she just phoned in a script for it… as a baby I had constant ear infections and strep to the point they removed my tonsils at 4 in Ireland… Medicine was very different than Canada then.. I don’t know how they are now but then it was very very scary. I have noted this before perhaps it was me you read from… anyhow in my MSN group we did a check of members who had had Bar Epstien or the English version called something different that I cannot remember now… and all active members had gone through it or something similar which may have been a missdx at the time.
