Guest guest
I give them to myself! I have my son put them on my spine. A friend of mine goes to the hive and gathers them into jars for me. I read Pat Wagoner's book first. Go to the Beelady's website for this info. I doubt that a neuro would even consider helping you with this. Marcie

Guest guest
What about the possibility of an anaphylactic reaction? I thought that one could become allergic to bees at any time despite having never reacted before. That would cause me some concern... ----- Original Message ----- From: marciemjm@... low dose naltrexone Sent: Wednesday, February 04, 2004 6:56 AM Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Bee Sting!! Guest guest
Yes, that is a possibility. That is why I keep a prescription for epinepherine on hand. You must not be as progressed as I am (thank God). Bee stings were a final resort for me. It was to the point where I truly had NOTHING to lose! When I couldn't get on and off of the toilet without help, I knew I had to do something because a nursing home was the next step. I'm just 42 years old, and that really doesn't appeal to me! I was at the point that I decided to try BVT or will myself to die. You probably have to be in my shoes to understand, but it really did save my life. I slept for 6 hours straight the first night after only 6 stings! I hadn't done that in nearly 4 years! My energy level increased, and the swelling in my feet and ankles was reduced. I can't explain how and don't care. I just know it has been good for me. Everyone has to try whatever they feel led to do. I just wish that I hadn't waited so long, but I was scared. I had no idea how bad things could get until it happened to me. Marcie
Guest guest
Hi, ¸I used beestings for 3½ years (over 7000 stings). It's true that you could become allergic even after that many stings. I didn't but I always had a antidote injection pen and a bottle of Benedryl. About 4-5% of the population is allergic to beestings (not yellowjackets, wasps, etc). But you can always get desentitized to beestings if you go see a specialiste for allergics.
Guest guest
I wasn't criticizing the concept, just concerned about the possible reaction. I'm really glad to hear of anything that helps, and since this is such a varied disease it stands to reason that what IS helpful will vary from person to person... ----- Original Message ----- From: marciemjm@... low dose naltrexone Sent: Wednesday, February 04, 2004 3:46 PM Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Bee Sting!!
