Guest guest
Hello Bee,Jecca, and all, I talked with Mountain Rose Herbs this morning. Their seasalt is harvested off the California coast and is not moist as it is processed differently than celtic seasalt. The man I talked with mentioned that he keeps a jar of dead sea salt in his bathroom with a lid that has a spoon insert in it. He said the dead sea salt actually becomes moist after a while, from showering, etc. Other than that, he was not familiar with moist grey seasalt and how to store it. Hope this helps. :-) Debra NW " jeccajay " <jeccajay@...> wrote: Yeah, I read about storing sea salt in tight containers from you first but since then I have seen it mentioned on a few other sites as well, so that's why I was asking. It didn't make sense to me as to why it should breathe. If I get a chance. I'll try to email them myself this week. I had always understood that it must be kept moist in a tightly closed container....
