Guest guest
Have your doctor call Dr. Bihari, he will speak to any doctor concerning the use of LDN. His # is 212-929-4196. This way you will know what script to get for next time. Kiki
Guest guest
I think giving a try wouldn’t hurt and then after a trial run you can decide which may be best for you ;o) Everyone’s reaction is different just like we’re all different so it’s really how it works for you. I’d try it for like a month or so and see what the differences were and decide myself ) Best of luck whatever you do! I do not notice any thing different except that I have the vivid dreams that you all talk about and I toss an turn alot and do not sleep as much. Does this go away or should I stay on the 3.0mg? I want to speak to my Dr about it but this is new to him too and he felt that he would help me try this so any advise or opions would be great. I know noone here likes when opions are given but I would like to hear from all of you and I can decide from that what to do. Please help anyone Thanks Jen

I find reducing the dose from 4.5mg to 3mg improves my mornings a bit. I now take 4.5mg for 5 days, 3mg for 5 days and then have a two day break. Some day I'll get a few 1.5mg capsules so I can try a more gradual reduction. Steve
Guest guest
I started on 3mg and in a month went to 4.5mg....then the next month back to 3mg...then back to 4.5mg....and now I have decided that 3mg is the one for me. I was one who always thought that more is better....but not so with LDN. Some do well on 4.5mg, but I have too much stiffness. I have bee on LDN for 10 months now, and all I know is that it has stopped my progression. I was not one of the lucky ones, where it gave much symptom relief (some but not a lot) So Jen experiment all you want, but if it's halting the progression of Disease, DON'T QUIT. You will still have old symptoms come and go, but your disability should not get worse. Hang in there and Good luck to you. Love, SallyC. Guest guest
Good morning, Jen: Your tossing and turning is probably an indication of the insomnia you can experience if the dosage is too high. Some times this will go away within about 2 weeks. If it doesn't, then the only recourse is to lower the dosage. However, the dosage doesn't have to lowered to 3 mg, just to the level you can tolerate and be comfortable with.
