I would guess it means that you're newly infected and that your TSH is still within the normal range. But the fact that you're feeling so bad [presumedly from hypothyroidism? ] would give another impression. Why don't you give us your complete lab report [be sure to include ranges] and see what we can tell you? It's cheaper than a full panel. Unless you have a severe conversion problem, T3 will follow the T4. Both will be high or both will be low. The low free T4 suggests you have a binding problem.
