Guest guest
Hi. I know I can get the oils from a health food store, but I won't be making a trip to Charlotte or university until the coming weekend. Concord has a Teeter, and I was wondering if anyone here shops there and if they carry the coconut oil and better unsalted butter than food lion (thanks Doug! ) We don't have a Kroger nearby. I wish! I'm originally from Ohio and I miss Kroger! nicole
Guest guest
You can get VCO in WalMart. Go to the vitamin aisle and look for it. It's much more expensive than buying it online ($80.00 a gallon as compared to $28.00 a gallon) but it's only $10 for a pint. We used it before our gallon arrived in the mail. ~Cathe > Hi. The best VCO for the price is at Mountain Rose Herbs, Eugene, Oregon; 1 gallon of unrefined is $28.00 plus shipping - you can buy it through my website so I get credit (the ad is at the bottom of every page; it has green leaves and a farmer on his tractor on it). I buy it from Canada, and even though the shipping is $36.00 I'm saving over $300 on coconut oil. Bee
Guest guest
Forgot to mention, this VCO is not organic, but it's better than nothing! ~Cathe > You can get VCO in WalMart. Hi Nicola, Coconut Oil should be " virgin " or " extra virgin " organic and unrefined. There are a lot of lesser quality coconut oils out there. For more info about good brands see this article at Bee's website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/coconut5.php jackie
