That most certainly is NOT how it works.

1. My thyroid is completely gone and has been for a number of years.

Ditto for four others in my immediate family.

2. We all take T4 only. No antidepressants. No corticosteroids.

3. Not one of us has any hypoT symptoms.

4. I have told you this many times before.

5. According to the published literature, our response is typical.

That makes your memory highly selective, just as said.
