Guest guest
I make my own raw butter from raw cream. I wash it really well. The baby wants to eat it plain. When I eat it it seems to give me bad gas and hour or two later. Is this healing reaction, feeding the yeast, or die off? Thanks Kara

Guest guest
So is raw butter a stronger than coconut oil? I seem to only get this reaction with the raw butter. Thanks Kara
Guest guest
Hi Kara, Even plain butter can hit some people really hard with die off, and others it doesn't effect at all. For me, butter was harder to increase than coconut oil. To use butter as an example, in my opinion, there were a lot of factors that may have impacted my die off reactions from it, like when I started eating butter as compared to other antifungals foods (like coconut oil or onions). I routinely ate a little coconut oil even before I started all the supllements, so I think my body was more use to coconut oil than butter. I also started coconut oil while I had miserable die off, later when I evened out, thats when I really started to have butter, and the die off flared up again. Maybe my reaction to coconut oil was stronger, but I wouldn't have noticed it durring that time, since my overall die off was so bad. I think how much my body needed the other nutrients in butter also impacts die off/healing reactions. I have always, since I was very little, had horrible cravings for butter, to where I would eat it plain by the spoonfuls. I think I needed some nutrient in the butter pretty bad, so when my body started to get a lot of it, I probably got some pretty strong healing reactions from it. Its really hard to say with so many things in the mix, which is stronger. And even though we all have the same nutrient requirements, since each of us comes to the diet at a different levels of nutrition, toxin exposure, and candida growth, our reactions can vary tremenously. Looking for or trying to increase stronger antifungal foods may help to kill some candida off, but it is better to concentrate on eating nutrient rich foods, as I am sure you know. As Bee always says, no amount of antifungals will cure candida, its a strong immune system that will, in the end, save the day (and our health).
