Guest guest
le- You need to see another provider for your thyroid because it is clear that the endow is not putting your best interests in heart. In order to be diagnosed as having high blood pressure, you have to be tested on 3 separate days at 3 separate times of the day. Your blood pressure varies throughout the day and it is affected from different activities that you do in a day. Many people have high BP from coming into the providers office in the first place. We call it the white coat syndrome. Foods can affect BP, medicines and herbs can affect BP. Pain can affect it. So can feeling nausea , vomiting, having a fever. The list goes on. Were you having any other symptoms around that time? did he test any of the other labs like free T 3 and 4? why does he think you don't have hypo T? because of your TSH rwading? a good provider who really knows about thyroid disease never goes by the TSH. maybe you should see a natural medicine provider. the TSH is not even a thyroid hormone. it is released by the anterior pituitary and thus if there is some thing wrong with the feed back loop between the ant. pit and the thyroid, the test results are skewed. nancie -- high blood pressure suddenly appearing after being taken off my Armour thyroid I was taken off my 1.5 grains of Armour by an endocrine doc on Dec 11. He thinks the thyroid is not my primary issue. Now I am having wicked headaches that can only be described as hormone migraines. I have also developed out of the blue it seems HIGH blood pressure 197/98 for example is an average one sitting resting before taking. My TSH went from 0.04 to 115 in the time from Dec 11 until two days ago!! What on earth is going on? The high blood pressure is scaring me since I have always been the patient the nurse's joked with about having LOW blood pressure, never high. Guest guest
steve- they are only a danger if they treat to the TSH. If they treat to the frees and to your symptoms, then they are not a danger. -- Re: high blood pressure suddenly appearing after being taken off my Armour thyroid Nancie Barnett wrote: > le- > You need to see another provider for your thyroid because it is clear that > the endow is not putting your best interests in heart. Guest guest
you must be on at least 3 grains of Armour and treat to the Frees, not TSH. Find a doc who understands this. Gracia I was taken off my 1.5 grains of Armour by an endocrine doc on Dec 11. He thinks the thyroid is not my primary issue.
