Synthroid and periods starting after menopause

I was never about to take meds for my low thyroid but finally was able

to take synthroid. When I started nothing happened. But when I

increased the dosage to 50 mcg, I got my period. I hadn't had one in

a long time either. I had to go down to a half 75 because it made me

too hyper. Yesterday I began taking 50 mcg's again and guess what?

Yep, period started again and it's only been two weeks since the last

one. I had been stopped for a long time.......anyone know if this is

related? Or am I going back to being a teenager again?
