Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just wanted to say I saw my primary care dr. today who is the one who gave me the script. for LDN. In general I am sick of drs. but she told me she had another patient who was diagnosed with MS recently and she gave this person the LDN website and info and said if they were interested she would give them a script. If more drs. felt this way LDN would be more available to those who need itand maybe some trials would be done. Also found out the hip pain I have seems to be arthritis so now I know it's not due to the MS. She also wrote me a script for 3 mg so with the 2 mg. I still have I think I will do a little experimenting. I feel the same as I did before I started taking the LDN so maybe I will try taking 4 mg to see if there is any difference. Hope evcerybody continues to improve. Chris
Guest guest
Good morning, Chris: I'd recommend slowly increasing your dosage until you hit the point that you exhibit insomnia or leg stiffness. At that time, you will know you are at your bodies maximum tolerance level for the LDN. When you reach the 4.5 mg level, stay there for a while to see what actions occur. Guest guest
You are really lucky having such a doctor! :-) Ingrid [low dose naltrexone] Great Doctor Hi all, Just wanted to let you all know. I had originally gone to a Homeopathic Urologist (from Crystal's list) to get my LDN. She's a distance from my house so it's kind of a hassle to get there and with the price of gas, expensive. Anyway, I printed all the LDN info and took it to my primary care doc, she's a DO, and she was so impressed that she said she would be more than happy to prescribe it for me. She also said that it's my body, my illness and since she works for me, what I want is of the utmost importance to her. She also thanked me for the LDN info and said that she considers herself a work in progress and anytime she gets to learn more it makes her day. She's going to do more research into LDN because she thinks a lot of her other patients may benefit from it. She's going to oversee all my MS needs since my Neurologist retired and I don't want to do the MRI, lumbar puncture, CRAB drug thing anymore. She said she believes my diet (Swank), supplements, attitude and now LDN are the best things I could ever do for myself and that I'm doing it all right. What a good day it was to hear all that and have a doctor who thinks that way.
