Hey Neil,

My sister is hypo- diagnosed about 6 yrs ago. She sees a holistic doc

now, and while she still has endometriosis pain , she is beginning to feel

better. A recent scan of her abdomen reveals that during her endo is

growing along the pathway of where a " tube " (leading to the ovary) would be

in a non hysterectomized female. Docs are playing with her sex hormone

levels to get right dose so as not to stimulate the endo too much. Her

thyroid meds are being adjusted too. I advised her of my recent diagnosis

of low Vit. D (turns out mine was -4, not +20 as the doc's secretary told

me) so she's looking into it.

I appreciate info below and not trying to be funny, (but assuredly showing

my age) I thank and my sister thanks, etc. etc. etc.

I am sorry about your neighbors and friends becoming ill. But from my

reading endometriosis has a major association with hypothyroidism. Perhaps

she could get some relief from a doctor that does more than look at her TSH,

rather they should examine her skin thickness, reflexes, and the more proper

physical markers of hypothyroidism. After my personal experiences with 5

minute off visits from my TSH worshiper doctor, I was shocked when I

received a complete two hour exam from a competent doctor that revealed and

explained all of this to me.

Breast cancer has shown (in studies even!) to be associated with prolonged

vitamin D deficiency. Up to 60% (I personally think even more) of cases can

be prevented by supplementation to proper serum levels of 25-hydrox-D. Sadly

many women have their breasts removed, before they even have cancer, because

their sisters, mothers, etc, have had breast cancer. How chilling it will

turn out to be that because of where they live (northern latitudes), and

deficient family lifestyles (habits of staying indoors, using sunscreen,

etc), they could take a small gel cap daily and prevent all this heart ache.

I believe that restoration of natural levels of male/female hormones with

bio identical are not dangerous, that they instead are healthful and should

be balanced with proper levels of Armour thyroid and vitamin D (and a ton of
