Marcie, Give your 4.5 mg dose at least two weeks. I know I had more symptoms for the two weeks after I went from 3 to 4 mg, and then lots of good healing happened.

Good luck.

I have been reading all of these comments with great interest! I have been taking thyroid activator for 3 years (an herbal supplement) after checking my body temp and pulse upon waking up first thing in the morning. Temp was low. Doc said that was a pretty accurate indication that the thyroid was sluggish. Anyway, it corrected with the supplement. I am wondering whether I will need to continue this since being on LDN? I just increased from 3mg LDN to 4.5mg. I am noticing slightly more stiffness/pressure from my knees down to my toes. I want to stick it out. How long should I give it? Discomfort is quite a lot. It doesn't help that I took a nasty fall last night and am extremely body sore. Marcie

Yes Marcie do take your time when trying a dose ,what ever it is at. Until you have been faithfully taking your pills or pill as the case may be,for at least two to three weeks you won't know how you will respond. My friend and I have played with our dose for three months now and we probably have set our selves back more than improved, yet even at that we just love what ldn. is doing for us. He hasn't gotten out of his wheelchair yet and I havn't thrown away my cane yet but there is more hope for the future now than there was just four months ago. Just my two bits worth Reg.
