My TSH level was 60.67 and my hemoglobin level was 7. The doctor said that I have severe anemia. My question is: Is there any correlation between hypothyroidism and anemia and do B 12 injections help? Also, I have heard that Armour thyroid supplements are more effective then synthetic ones, is there any truth to this? Thanks so much for any insight that can be provided.
