Guest guest
- I knew what you were saying. Anyone who has been here long enough knows what the meaning of your message was. It is the new ones that might have no clue.... -- Re: Overbearing need to be right/Ilanar If it is not clear that I'm saying I do not find a particular [negative] attitude attractive [while not specifically attributing it to anyone; and more specifically NOT attributing it to the recipient of my post] then perhaps I need to speak [type] in more simple terms. But as I try [not always successfully] to be accurate in my communication that may be difficult for me. It is also probably clear to the more astute members of the group that it is probably far more likely that I personally suffer from the negative attitude that Venizia thought I was applying to her than that she would suffer from that negative attitude. But it's a lot easier to see negative traits in others than in myself. > > Posted by: " lmneedham " lmneedham@... > <mailto:lmneedham@... uk?Subject=%20Re%3A%20Overbearing%20need%20to%20be%20right%2FIlanar> > lmneedham <lmneedham> > > > Tue Aug 26, 2008 2:52 am (PDT) > > > > Interesting choice of words 'not pretty'. > > Think about what you are actually implying by that usage. > > > > > > What I meant was that someone who is a " know it all " is exhibiting a > > negative attitude; and that you never do that.
