Facial swelling is the first thing I notice when I am not getting the

dose I need. Why did you go off thyroid? I might have missed

something. It is water retention. The thyroid regulates everything

in the body. With hypoT everything slows down.

Typically, yes. But not with me. Many of my symptoms more resemble

hyperthyroidism than hypothyroidism; that is, I have a high metabolic rate.
