looks like you are still Hypo. what medication are you on? when did you start

with hypo T treatment? next time you get labs you should wait 6 weeks to have

blood tests. I normally test patients every 6-8 weeks in the beginning. and as

they become stable every 3 months.

hypothyroidism

Subject: Help interpreting labs please

Hello everyone,

I've been having mysterious health problems and have been exploring

different avenues as to what might be the cause. Can you please tell

me how these labs look to you?

TSH w/reflex to FreeT4

TSH - 4.62 uIU/ml (ref range 0.45-4.67)

About a month later:

T4 Free: 0.93 ng/dL (ref range 0.71-1.85)

TSH (only) 2.84 uIU/mL

My symptoms are:

Low libido

Low appetite

Low motivation

Low energy (always tired!)

Emotionally dead

Lack of enthusiasm/adrenalin

I have NOT gained or lost weight, though. I'm not over or underweight.

Thanks

~

Thanks for the response. Allow me to be more specific.

These labs are a few months old. When I presented my symptoms, the

doctors did these tests and basically told me I was normal. I have not

received any treatment for hypothyroidism. They tried putting me on

anti-depressants again and after a few months of that did nothing I am

medication free.

Recently I've returned to the idea that I may be hypo even though some

doctors have written off the idea. What tests should I ask for? I need

to be sure about what I'm doing.

Alternatively, or perhaps concurrently, I am being tested for sleep

apnea at the end of this month.
