swelling face as I go hypoT off meds - causes

Well my face is swelling up wonderfully, especially upper and lower eyelids. I

have gone from slightly hyperT to very hypoT since going off my Armour

completely on Dec 11 (endocrine theory was the reason).

What in the body as I go hypoT is causing this amazing swelling?

I don't know, but with a TSH as high as I think you reported I would

think you would need T4 immediately if not sooner. Either that or find

out why your TSH went so high is only three weeks. My understanding is

that normally even without a thyroid function at all it should not go

that high that fast, so maybe something else is going on. I have no

idea what beyond a possible pituitary malfunction.
