Yep, it is, Sally. Standard rules apply. Open attachments only if they are from people you know and you're expecting them. Beware of the file suffixes .pif, .scr, .exe, .cmd, .bat, .zip. Keep your antivirus software up to date. Check reliable sites such as Symantec or McAfee when you suspect an e-mail or when you learn of a possible threat, to separate hoaxes from the real thing.
