Guest guest
Hello All - I'm Julyette and I had a subtotal thyroidectomy in 1979 due to Graves Disease. I've had hypothyroidism ever since and fibromyalgia. I am 46 years old and married for four years. I live on the east coast. I take 100 mg. of Unithroid everyday. After 15 years, I have stopped taking Cytomel. I was recently diagnosed with Sjorgren's Syndrome - severe dry eyes and mouth among other things. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I look forward to sharing information and tips to have a better quality of life.

It sounds like you might have a different problem -- the people in this group (in general) don't cause problems for electronic equipment, but rather the electronic equipment causes problems for us! Of course, I'm sure that there are people who have both problems... Marc
Guest guest
Hi, Lag, That is how I USED to be! When I first came to this forum, everyone here thought I did not have ES-- that " type " of ES is not the kind of ES most here have. But I soon did find out what they had, because when I reacted badly to yet another in a long line of chemical toxins (I was and still am multiple chemically sensitive--look up " TILT " , " toxin induced loss of tolerance " ), it made me the sort of ES that most people here are talking about when they say they have ES. Before that, my reactions were merely annoying (and expensive--I broke a computer, alot of watches, etc.). After it became downright painful and illness provoking. (But I am doing much better at the moment.) I did not see reactions were stronger when I was happy--that happened when I was ill or upset, tho! I sometimes broke lightbulbs, a half dozen or so on the same day, just by trying to turn on lamps when I was ill. I once completely fried a 2 yo computer because I was emotionally upset about something. I am now studying " energy medicine " --meridians, radiant currents,.... I have found I have blockages in my lymphatic system and meridians and that various energy exercises help me. A word of warning--take care of your lymphatic problems now before you, too, have the painful kind of ES! You are likely a toxin waiting to happen. Welcome to the group! I just found this site and was so excieted to find that there are more people out there with the same problems! I always thought I was just jinkeses and had bad luck with electronics. I break almost everything I touch for too long shock everyone I touch and always have problems with cell phones. I do have a question for everyone: do you see that when your in a good mood or very happy that the electric shocks are more stronger? This happens to me all the time but it seems that when I am happy I tend to break electronics or scamble up the frequencys more. The other day I went to put a movie in the PS3 and reset the whole thing! My husband had to input all the data back into it again for the third time. I'm afraid one of these days I'm going to erase the memory and it can not be restored. [] I'v done that on my coputer before I corupted the memory sticks and crashed the computer! lol
Guest guest
Hi again, a, Unless you are going to a doctor who is a specialist in environmental toxins or es issues, don't expect much! Even then, grill the snot out of the doctor to make sure he knows what you are talking about and not just giving you a big line! lol (I have caught a number of doctors giving me a big line!) Best read up on lymphatic congestion yourself. Here are a few good place to start: http://www.diagnose-me.com/cond/C162576.html http://www.ehcd.com/ You can google lymphatic congestion and come up with alot of info quickly.
