Guest guest
I agree that my mom needs estrogen. She has only one ovary. The point I was trying to make about the doctor was that he was real quick to give her estrogen before tests revealed normal levels, but he said that nothing was wrong with her thyroid, but he wasn't dispensing thyroid meds. Confusing huh? That is because he contradicted himself. She went in there with a list of symptoms not because she is overweight. He acted like her problem is food and I know it isn't. If he is gonna give out meds without tests then that's what he needs to do. He shouldn't pick and choose which meds to dose without prior testing. He is an idiot. CW I think most women, especially hypos feel better on estrogen but it has to Be bioidentical, like estradiol. Testing never helped with hormones at all, Except to tell me they were very low.
