Has she been tested for Lyme disease? I mean " really tested. "

The National Academies Press study of Iodine

Also, over the past several months, her throat has been

swelling larger and larger...as my middle daughter said, " She has

swollen glands in the front of her throat Mom! No matter what she

does, or the treatment the doctors put her on, she keeps getting sick

and her glands keep getting bigger. "

No, I don't think so, but we've had the experience of Stage 2 lyme

disease with our oldest daughter, so I hope I would be able to

recognize the symptoms. Also, my b-i-l just had lyme disease this

past summer. I will check out the link you posted! Thank you.

There's no stigma for us lay persons to research none-conventional

sources of information IMHO. Not all correct data can be authenticated

with credible research. The stigma occurs when patently uncredible

articles full of fallacies are quoted to others as having the same [or

more] validity than peer reviewed research. This normally will occur

more often from those who do not value or understand the scientific method.

I'm glad your daughter's problem with kidneys was corrected, and hope it

remains so. I know how painful and frustrating it is when our kids [or

grand kids] have medical problems. The loss of one is almost more than

I can comprehend.

I really don't understand the failure to convert T4 to T3, although I

believe it is well documented to occur in some small percentage of

hypothyroidism cases. If you find some good info on it I would

appreciate it if you would post the link.

BTW, the article you referenced here is the same one you referenced in

your post in response to mine.

Good luck in your research,

..

Since there are discussions going on about this on several boards (and

numerous separate discussions on this board), I felt I should post it

where anyone not following all the discussions (I wasn't) would still

have the opportunity to see it.

Thank you. I'm giving it some serious thought. We still haven't

finished that salt I measured out...day 4. :-/
