Guest guest
thanks! that is interesting. I would have to hitchhike 20 miles to get the fuel filter. now I am wondering if I have ever had that done but I can't find a reciept for it. crisis care guy lives a ways away from me and is taking care of his baby now. I could not afford to put iodine in the gas tank but I might try it if it would fix the problem. at least I have a good supply of Guiness. oy Gracia, You wrote: > > I called a guy who specializes in Volvo crisis care. he thinks I need a > fuel filter! and will come to my house and fix the car, or else tow it > to the garage. I wonder how much that will cost! You will mainly be paying for the labor to make a house call and replace it. It is easy enough to do, that you might want to do it yourself. Depending on the model, the part could be around $14, and the labor means taking two rubber hoses off the old one and sticking in the new. http://www.thevolvosite.com/S60/volvo-s60-fuel-system-and-related-parts.html Other models: http://www.thevolvosite.com/ Just don't put iodine in the gas tank. BTW, did you know they use iodine to make stout? It's a test for starch conversion when preparing the mash. Chuck
