Guest guest
I use a pharmacy that is not listed on the site and they mix the naltrexone with lactose. I e-mailed the site this morning to see if there were any problems doing this and they said no. If I am not using one of the pharm. listed will the drug be less effective for me? Is there any quest that I should ask the pharm They really want to help and make this the best that it can as they are excited about this as I am. Any feed back will be great! Thanks Jen
Guest guest
Just wondered how you located this additional compounding pharmacy? Guest guest
Good afternoon, Jen: Just because the pharmacy is not listed on the LDN site does not in itself mean the LDN is not being formulated correctly. It just means that no history of acceptable results have been compiled. The best measurement to date to determine if the pharmacy is formulating the LDN correctly is whether the patient exhibits signs of improvement. As I understand, there have been some pharmacies that apparently didn't put any LDN in the capsules. They just filled them with filler only. Also, there isn't any problem with using lactose as a filler as long as the patient is not lactose intolerant. A number of people are lactose intolerant and suffer numerous side effects that are not related to LDN.
