Guest guest
If you are indeed hypothyroid as your TSH tests indicate then .037 mcg per day is an extremely small dosage. Normally doctors like to raise the dose in increments after checking the results of new TSH tests. Raising it to .037 from .025 would cause me to question whether your doctor actually believes you are hypothyroid unless you have a heart condition or some such. At the very least you should be rechecked within 6 to 8 weeks and your dosage raised if your TSH is not diminished. That is the procedure that works for most people. Lots of people here have not had good results with conventional treatment, and tend to self treat. You will probably get some good advice on the internet to that effect, and some not so good. You would be well advised to educate yourself as much as possible, trying to discard the rubbish and learn from the beneficial.
