Guest guest
I do not believe there's any evidence whatsoever that Hashi's or any other kind of hypothyroidism is contagious. AFAIK Hashimoto's is caused by your immune system attacking your thyroid gland. I am not aware of any agent that can be transferred from you to someone else that would make their immune system attack their thyroid gland. Is there perhaps a bit of animosity between you and your boyfriend's father? > > Is Hashimoto's contagious? > <hypothyroidism/message/36986;_ylc=X3oDMTJxM2htNm1\ rBF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzE0NTY2NARncnBzcElkAzE3MDkyNTEwODIEbXNnSWQDMzY5ODYEc2V\ jA2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTIwNjA5NDYwMg--> > > > > Posted by: " h37h37 " h37h37@... > <mailto:h37h37@...?Subject=%20Re%3AIs%20Hashimoto%27s%20contagious%3F> > h37h37 <h37h37> > > > Thu Mar 20, 2008 11:37 am (PDT) > > Hello everyone, > > Thanks again for all of your kind words and help.
