I do not believe there's any evidence whatsoever that Hashi's or any

other kind of hypothyroidism is contagious. AFAIK Hashimoto's is caused

by your immune system attacking your thyroid gland. I am not aware of

any agent that can be transferred from you to someone else that would

make their immune system attack their thyroid gland.

Is there perhaps a bit of animosity between you and your boyfriend's father?
