Guest guest
Hi Noland: I have not had any progression since I have been on LDN. It is hard to know whether I can credit the LDN, but the statistics suggest that I should not be doing as well as I am. I've had no side effects from the LDN (except for some extra vivid dreams, and a general feeling of well-being), so why would I stop using it?? Here are some more details: My NHL is nodal marginal zone b-cell (a form of MALT lymphoma). Discovered in March, 2002. Finally diagnosis in late June, 2002. Lymphoma specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering told me the cancer was stage IV and that I had to start chemo immediately, either CHOP or Fludarabine. I eventually persuaded my oncologist to give me 8 weeks of Rituxan (monoclonal antibody) as a single agent. That has been my only regular treatment. I have followed a macrobiotic diet since September, 2002. Lost 50 pounds on that diet. I'm less strict now, but still eat brown rice every day, no sugars, no white flour, no meat, no processed foods, no hydrogenated fats, lots of veggies, some fruits, fermented soy, green tea daily. Because my cancer tested positive for EBV, I have been taking L-lysine (amino acid) which is known to inhibit the activation of EBV. I also had all of my mercury amalgams removed in August, 2003 by a specially trained dentist. If I can answer any other questions for your friend, please ask. Best wishes, S. Good morning, : Since you have NHL, how have you been progressing since you started LDN in November, 2002? I am especially interested in your experiences because I've been trying to get an acquaintance to take LDN for his NHL for several months now. Noland rangeus50@...
