Hi ,

I was living and working in Asia as well. Long before western doctors agreed I

had PsA, I went to an acupuncture an herbal doctor as well. He hit the nail on

the head, saying I had rampant arthritis as my immune system was out of whack.

Well, he got the diagnosis right, but the treatment didn't really result in

much. He had me take about 40 pills a day that he ground up and followed up

with acupuncture. I was willing to give it a shot, but after a few months,

there was no reaction at all.

Years later I figured it out and the western doctors agreed.

Currently on NSAID and sulfazine.

Tom,

Thanks for the info. I'll skip the herb and pills over here then. But, I won't

skip these Thai massages. They really help me tremendously. They basically,

move your muscles from your bones with their thumbs, elbows and feet. Quite the

torture session with this kind of pain, but afterwards I feel like I did when I

was 15. Two hours of torture, in a really nice place for $15! If anyone is

every in Bangkok, I highly recommend the Health Land Spa & Massage. Get the two

hour Thai massage for 450 Thai baht.

I guess insurances don't pay for massage therapy in the USA??? Anyone have such

a thing?

Insurance in the US doesn't pay for much.

In Malaysia when I paid the full bill in a nice hospital, it was less than the

deductible in the USA.

Our health system is sooo broken.
