Guest guest
I want to thank the people who responded to my first email from 2 days ago I think. I am only taking 1.5 mg of LDN. As I mentioned, last night was my second night. I woke up again at 2:00 am on the nose. I was hot and had a strange headache. Like the inside of my head was being squeezed. Obviously the medicaton was working or altering something I don't know. I thought my head would explode. My doctor hasn't called me back and I do not know whether to take it again tonight. From some of the things I read, it takes about a week or so. If that's the case, I will take a leave from work if that is what is needed. Has anybody had any side effects with the LDN iniitally and then have them go away I hope!!!! Thanks You guys are great:) Catalano
Guest guest
These side effects are severe in my books so therefore I would up the dose to make it worthwhile this is a weekend and after three days my dreams settled down a lot, so you shouldn't need time off. I never had any bad headaches though.I still wake up at 2:00 or 2:30 depending on when I took my pill but I am used to that now. I think that once you decide to take it just power through the few initial nights, it will get better and better! Guest guest
re: headaches--The Headache Center in New York says that magnesium deficiency is responsible for 50% of all headaches. I started many of my friends on it who no longer have headaches. They are recommending 400-600mg and up to 1000mg. My son with MS takes 1000mg. Magnesium is the most important mineral in the body the experts say. Present in lots of dark green leave veggies but we don't know what amounts are actually left after poor mineral soils etc. Chelated types are best. Guest guest
I find I have a buzzing or tingling in my head. I told the doctor and he said that it was amazing. That is the neurons refiring. Other than that the only side effect was I had to feel good. Guest guest
I had side effects for 4 weeks. I was almost giving up. So glad I didn't. If you can stand to go through this, please do! Mostly I hear, side effects are very personal, one has none, the other a week etc. Chey
