trauma patients 20 mg of decadron IV to decrease the cerebral edema.

I was on 150 mg of decardon every month for 10 years! I was on a

whopping dose of steroids!

Reading this thread I was reminded of an experience. My son was

very, very ill and was given prednisone. I went in with him to his

doctor's appointments and during the discussion, the doctor looked

shocked and told us the directions had been to take much more of the

prednisone than my son had been taking. I was involved in dispensing

the medication and believed he had been taking it according to

directions. My son and I looked at one another and both said: " God " .
