Guest guest
Luanne: It's so nice to know that there are others that share our passion. I'm amazed at your wildlife debacle. Without having experienced it firsthand, I would have to say that bunnies would be adorable. Initially, I would have to give up my garden to them. I live in the city, so things like that are rare. Although my neighbor did find one in my backyard one day and adopted it. I never saw it. Now if you need squirrels, I'm your woman!! I've got a pecan tree in the backyard, and they throw the nuts at your head when you walk underneath. It's hysterical!! Guest guest
I am glad Ty got through his treatment. How many more of these are they going to do? When you have the time will you please explain to me why he has these treatments? Jodi never had this so I'm not sure exactly what they are trying to do. Please take care of yourself. I know you must me a nervous reck but I know while things are happening you do fairly well then when it's over is when you fall apart. Guest guest
Hi Luanne: Just wanted to tell you I'm thinking of you guys and that Ty sure is a trooper. I can't believe someone needed a CD player that badly. Needed the money for drugs most likely. You sure are MOTHER OF THE YEAR in my book Luanne. It sure is nice Ty knows it too. Guest guest
Dear LuAnne: I just read your post here this a.m. and you made my heart swell with pride when you said your son(s) played trumpet. My father-in- law was a worldclass trumpet player and played in the Memphis Horns, with Elvis, Sinatra, so on....I'm so happy to know that your children were interested in music as children. There seems to be such a shift away from the arts in schools and a push towards sports, that I rarely run into people whose children even have that luxery. I know I mentioned before that my husband is a keyboard player professionally. It's so nice to have another bandwife in here. LOL They have an amazing capacity for love and empathy don't they? Anyway, thankyou for bringing warm fuzzy thoughts of my father in law. He would be proud to know your son played trumpet...or any instrument at all. What a gift! Guest guest
Hi Luanne: I just read the last digest from the group where you have been having a battle getting insurance for Ty. Our health insurance just went up yet again. Neither one of our jobs helps us with insurance so we have an independent policy with Blue Cross. It is getting to the point where you have to make a decision whether to eat or have health coverage. Thank the Lord Jodi has insurance but we are still paying hospital and doctor bills from the transplant. Oh well, you can't get blood out of a turnip, you give them what you can and go on. I try to check the group digest and keep up with how Ty and others are doing. I just got my Dad out of the hospital with heart problems. He was having stints and ballooning done and had a heart attack on the table. He is home and doing well now. It was just October that my stepfather had by pass surgery. He is doing great also. It seems like it's always something. Hang in there Luanne and I will continue to remember your family in my prayers. Thank God Jodi is doing well. Her Medrol has been decreased to three times a week but her Prograf level has been the same the whole time. I will be glad when they are able to decrease it. It's some high priced stuff. Take care and God bless. Genny/Jodi's Mom Living Donor Transplant 5-18-
