Indeed, but we keep electing politicians who are diligent in protecting us from ourselves, as well as from the all too real predators out there. > ... What does that do for us who > don't eat pig, and can't take synthetics? ... I was going to suggest earlier that you give synthetics another shot. The active ingredient is chemically identical to the levothyroxine in animal glands. If you are reacting badly to a synthetic T4, either you are simply not getting enough of it, you are allergic to one of the fillers, or you need T3. Since each manufacturer uses different fillers, you might want to try several until you find one that works. Depending on how your blood work responds, you could then add some Cytomel, if that is needed. In principle, you should be able to match the T4/T3 ratio in Armour without touching pork and without adverse reactions to fillers. Somewhere in our archives are messages listing all the excipients in several brands of T4, also available on the web. The most common bad actors are the dyes, which are different for each dose as well as between manufacturers. Chuck
