i have two questions.

1. We've been taught from birth that saturated fat is artery clogging

and unhealthy. Isn't coconut oil high in saturated fat?

2. is the weight loss basically from stopping carbs? (think Atkins

Diet) My father did Atkins and lost a significant amount of weight and

put it all and then some back on with a month of stopping. I would

like to enjoy sprouted bread, fruit and quinoa (of course in small

amounts) after the candida is good and gone. I don't want to baloon

back up. I know this is in the future, but I'm one of those annoying

people that wants to know everything up front. :)

Hi ,

You'll find that the more you stick around her the more you'll learn

that much of what you've been taught about nutrition is wrong. Yes,

Coconut Oil is a saturated fat, but it's not " bad " for you. It has

many healthy properties as do other saturated fats. This topic has

been discussed over and over and over again. Do an archived message

search at our group site to see past discussions. Also, go to

Bee's website and do a site search for " fats " and you'll come up with

links so several articles that discuss the value of good fats.
