Hello all,

One more try here. I just need to know then answers from others in the group as to must you have chronic autoimmune hep to have foggy memory? How long does it generally take for the steroids to leave your system? I finished my last ones on April the 24th. I had been diagnosed with Hep C in 1995. Then told it had went poof! Still the tiredness remains ever since, especially of the mornings.

My internist here suggested it could be autoimmunehep. From all I read from the liver support group.....it seemed to fit my circumstances. It was almost a relief to know I was not crazy as some implied, or looking for sympathy. I am not lazy. I am not one to ask for help. I only want answers.

Most recently, the specialist I saw in Gainesville, going by what records my internist here had sent him.....said he thought it was not even autoimmune? I am back to square one. He thinks it might be non-alcoholic liver. He did do additional bloodwork. I am to know in a few weeks to be sure. He did not seem to think my memory problems were due to my liver, though he did not totally rule out autoimmune. I am getting differnet diagnosis from each doctor I see. I have dieted and exercised all along. Though the exercising part has gotten more and more harder these days.

Any replies to this would be much appreciated. Thanks

Katy
