Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Should I try mixing my capsules

Hi everyone,I have been on LDN 2mg for about 4 mts and recently got a new script for 3mg. I thought about combining the 2 capsules to make 5 mgs. but am afraid totry it. . Does anyone think 5 mg would be too much? My progression hasn'tgoten worse but my optic neuritis seems to be worse and I still urinate asmuch as before LDN. Now I'm wondering if I have lyme disease and not MS.Thanks , Chris

what I do, maybe an idea for you; I have 2,5 mg caps. I'm

scared to take 5 mg all of a sudden. Every other day I empty 1

capsule in a cup, add 6 spoons of water, stirr firmly and put 3

spoons in another cup. I drink one of them and save the other in the

fridge for the next day. 3,25 mg is enough for me now. But I can

easily increase the doseage this way.

Hi 5 mg shouldn't be too much I started on 25.0mg and the only problem I had was that after a week and a half, my head kept tingling. My doctor said it could be the neurons refiring. If you don't get alot of stiffness, it shouldn't hurt.

Chey:

You take one 2.5 mg capsule along with the 3 spoons of mix to make a dosage

of 3.75 mg, correct?

A very innovative solution. Congratulations.

Yes. Ofcourse 3,75;o) I wrote 3,25. Been self-pharmaceuting since

the beginning and it all worked well, so I thought, lets try. 2,5 is

really too little for me and 5 seems so much.

Thnx for the compliment;o))

Thank you for reminding me of the lesions. I had forgotten about those.

There I go again reading too much and trying to diagnos myself. Since the

LDN hasn't made much difference and Lyme disease is also found in the spinal

fluid and brain, I just thought maybe.....
