my experience on iodine kelp

Ok, my husband bought me some kelp iodine generic that cost $7.99 for 500

tablets and each tablet is 150 mcg. My computer connection was lost when I got

it and so I wasn't sure how much everyone on here said would be safe, so I

took the advice from the label that said one tablet was 100% of the RDA. It

said

to take one daily preferably with meals.

Ok, I took one tablet at 4pm which I'm on central time zone and it's 6:30pm

now. I feel really great. I'm not feeling my fibro pains at all and I have

energy. Now this totally totally can be a placebo effect. Also, there are times

especially in the evening that I normally feel good. I usually feel the worst

in the morning. Which if my fibro is caused by my thyroid problems would

make sense, because when I feel the most pains is in the morning...although I

do

feel them during the day even after I've taken my meds, but I'd say worst

time is when I first wake up.

So I will post again tomorrow at some point to say how I feel then.

I do wonder if once your thyroid is shot...even with Hashi's...if you get to

a point where your body stops taking in iodine. Either way, if this

works...I'd totally just buy cheap iodine. I don't believe you have to buy some

real

expensive stuff. That's just my opinion though.
