Guest guest
Here is a free virus checker, good quality. I've used this for years on a number of home computers. It's free for personal home use. http://free.avg.com/ Here's another free virus checking software program. I've never used this before: http://www.clamwin.com/ While I'm on free software, here are some more, all of which I've used. One can also find a free fire wall called zonealarm http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us/anti-virus-spyware-free-download.htm A free full Office Suite called OpenOffice while I have installed on a small 8.9 inch windows XP portable (aspire one). http://download.openoffice.org/ A free spyware program called ad-aware http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php And another free spyware program (I've used both) called spybot: http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-amp-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html?cdlP\ id=10861988 How about some free mind-mapping software for organizing your thoughts, projects, research, etc? It's at least fun to play with for a while. http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page Gracia wrote: > is there a virus checker I can download for free? too bad I can't use iodine. > Gracia > > Gracia, please note that your virus checker is out of date. > > -- Steve - dudescholar4@...
