sending mail to group

HI Everyone,

I have not taken part much here yet as I'm not on LDN yet but I enjoy reading all the mails which are very informative and thank you for that !

I have a suggestion though. Mails have increased so much since the settings of the group were changed. I am on the daily digest format for receiving mails and get on average 2-3 daily digests a day. I've noticed for a while that alot of people here when they reply to a message often leave a lot of previous messages at the end of mail after what they write aswell as the crap that shows up at the end of mails. Would it be possible that when people click reply to reply to a post that they first of all use the mouse and highlight alot of the previous message and click delete..just leave a few lines of previous message to what you are replying to. Just a suggestion as I know this will make it much easier to read mails and will cut down the size of the daily digests. In another group I'm a member of for MS Diet they do this and it makes it so much easier. The moderator of this group sends out a monthly routine mail to remind people

to do this before they click send.

I agree 100%. Just quote the bit of the message that is relevant.

Some people kill filter or clip excessively long messages so it is

always best to keep messages trim to make sure most people see them.
