Guest guest
Hi Bonnie ~ I'm not familiar with Dr. Evron, but if it does not go well with him you may want to check out Dr. Goldstein in the North Hills: www.nhnaturalmedicine.com. I've got an appointment with him in October. take care, ~ -----Original Message----- I finally found a physician in the Pittsburgh, PA area that prescribes Armour Thyroid in addition to being a very competent dcotor. Guest guest
Hi, I did look into Dr. Goldstein; however, my insurance does not cover him and I am not in a position to self-pay. How much Armour Thyroid does Dr. Goldstein prescribe if I may ask. I just hope this new physician does not use Armour and Synthroid together. Synthroid is useless in my opinion. Please write back. Guest guest
AFAIK Synthroid is a bioidentical replacement for T4. If you don't have a T4 to T3 conversion problem or some kind of binding problem it should work fine. Chuck has posted numbers of doses of Synthroid and Armour sold and it appears that fewer than 2 out of every 100 take Armour. Take whatever you please, but why would you want to take T3 if your body makes a plentiful supply from bioidentical T4? Conversion of T4 to T3 is the natural process in your body. Guest guest
Hi Bonnie ~ I don't know how much Dr. Goldstein prescribes as I've not met with him yet. This just came through on another board for an alternative: http://www.fibroandfatigue.com/physicians.php. The woman who posted raved about her doctor, but I don't know if he was in Pgh or Philly. take care, ~ -----Original Message----- I did look into Dr. Goldstein; however, my insurance does not cover him and I am not in a position to self-pay.
