Guest guest
Hi guys, past days I experienced severe head- and nexk aches. So bad that I could only lay in bed, was so tired and weak. All I could think about was my bed. Yesterday was the worst. My muscles are so weak, I cannot even stand to go to the toilet or get off the toilet. Last night I toke 2,5 mg LDN in stead of the 3,75 I toke for a week. I feel better today. I stopped antibiotics too and most of my supplements. Just felt to bad to think about taking them. Problem is, my spasms retunrn immidiatly. I really don't know what to do, feel hopeless. Like on a rollercaoster going up and down. I want to take LDN to stop progression, but I felt more stabile on Betaferon. I'm more often sick (flu-like). The years on Betaferon were more alike, now I'm running high up and way down. Can you please give me some advice? Thnx, Chey
Guest guest
Long term use of betaferon can make neutralizing antibodies. This makes the betaferon ineffective. I would switch to copaxone if at all possible. LDN may or may not help. Guest guest
Chey, I would stop the anti-biotics and return to the supplements and LDN. Dr. Bihari told me to take " L-Phenylalanine" ( it is an amino acid) for the spasms. 500mg twice a day. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Guest guest
i also have had some experiences as you. i was sorry to hear, but at the same time also glad to see your post. i don't feel so alone now. i think ldn stops the progression but at the same time you can still have bad days sometimes really bad days that might last 2-3 days. but it doesn't mean your continusally going to stay like that. i think ldn is good but were not immune to having days such as you explasined. Guest guest
Reg, I too am still plagued with the spasms but my urinary urgency and frequency is a thing of the past. That was the first improvement back in July and has remained constant. Leg strength also improved but sometimes leaves for short periods. (usually a matter of hours). Guest guest
Chey, I can only give some suggestions which hopefully will help you. Since I do not know what supplements you were on I can only speak from experience. Sublingual B-12 5000mcg in the form of methylcobalamin has alleviated fatigue in many and also has other numerous benefits for the nervous system. In Germany a study was done indicating sublingual is just as effective as submuscular injections. Also, many msers are deficient in magnesium. Magnesium orotate is the most effective at reducing migranes and helping with spacticity and restless legs. In addition you might also try 5.0 Enada NADH. It helps with tremors and gave me wonderful energy. It works by supplying ATP to the cell membrane. Sorry the message is so lengthy but I like to know how something works before I put it in my body. On a final note you might check into some probiotics to get your intestinal flora back into balance from the antibiotics. I take olive leaf extract and haven`t been sick for two years. It is a natural antibiotic. My prayers are with you.
