I have a stainless steel one which I use about once or twice a week to cook goat, lamb, or anything that would normally take a long time. I also use it occasionally to make stock. Would this be all right? Also, I have a cast iron skillet which was supposed to be preseasoned, but everything sticks to it, so I need to season it again. I was wondering, when I coat it with coconut oil, do I also coat the handle, the outside, and the bottom? Plus, I was wondering if anyone has ever done this and if it makes a lot of smoke while it is in the oven.
