Does LDN really help MS?

I'm up late at night trying to figure out how to feel better. I was

diagnosed with MS 6/02 and continually looking for answers. Today,

my limbs must weigh at least 500 lbs each, well, maybe only 100 lbs

each. Anyway, searching for something new to try. I'm on Copaxone,

Neurontin and Provigil. Can't believe I didn't run into LDN

discussion before. Seems like it's worth a try, but who's

prescribing?

Seems like most of us have better luck getting a prescription from our

primary care physicians. I printed some info from the website, took it to

my doctor, and explained that the medication was very very safe at the low

dosage I wanted. He looked it up and agreed that it would do no harm. I

didn't make any grand claims for it's effectiveness, but told him I was very

serious about giving it a try. Tuesday I'm seeing him to give him an

update.

If you can't get any cooperation from your doctor quite a few people have

done telephone consults and I'm sure someone will post that process for you.

I ran into the LDN info last summer and thought it sounded too good to be

true. I wish I had started it when I first read about it. I was feeling

pretty good then, walking 2 miles before work every morning, then I started

slipping again. I started LDN a month ago and have been very pleased. As

soon as the weather warms up a bit I'll be out walking my little legs off

again.

What have you got to lose by trying LDN??? If I were you, I'd get a script so fast! You won't know until you try it! Like all drugs, it works for some and not for others, but it appears to have more success than the CRAB drugs! Go for it!!
