Guest guest
In response to below: Each individual just has to experiment and see what seems to work best for them. I personally have taken my LDN at various times and can't say that one time is better than the other. I keep a journal with everything from the time I take my LDN to how many times I have to get up during the night to what I eat in a day, and so far the only thing I think I can pinpoint is that my hands seem to work best if I eat some protein several times during the day. I'm not knocking carbohydrates, I eat them too, but the protein seems to play a part with my hands working. Go figure! I can't blame stiffness on LDN as I was SO stiff to begin with. I may be a bit less stiff because I can manipulate my legs in order to dress and undress myself easier than before LDN. It's not pretty, but I manage! The improvement in bladder function alone is worth shouting from the rooftop! I just take any improvement gladly and hope more will come in the future! I have just gotten to the point that I'm tired of obsessing and beating myself up over little details like how many ounces of water I drink in a day or whether I take a pill at 9:30 PM or 11:00 PM I think I am doing everything that I can do, so why beat myself up over something that I may never have an answer to? Just try different times and see if one time is better than another. I was on 3mg for the first 3 months, and then I increased to 4.5mg. I haven't noticed any difference and have had no problems with either, so I'll stick with 4.5mg. There seem to be so many variables from one individual to the next! Hang in there and best of luck! I TAKE MY LDN AT ABOUT 1:30 OR 2AM AND WHEN I GET UP IN THE MORNINGS I FEEL TIRED, THEN RIGHT BEFORE ITS TIME FOR ME TO TAKE IT AGAIN THE NEXT DAY I FEEL VERY GOOD, I WONDER SHOULD I CHANGE THE TIME AT WHICH I TAKE MY LDN SO I WILL FEEL BETTER IN THE DAY, WHEN IM UP AND MOVING ABOUT. I DON'T REALLY NEED TO FEEL GOOD BEFORE I GO TO BED!! I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY COMMENTS I CAN GET ON THIS MATTER!! VALERIE

One woman I know with MS spends most of the night painting (her hobby) and then sleeps during the morning. I suppose the LDN/endorphins link could be significant but, in my case, it has not changed my nighttime habits at all. Steve
Guest guest
Wow you night owls amaze me what do you do until 2:00 in the morning? And how do you exist the next day?If I am not in bed by 10:00 at the latest I am dead the next day. But in regards to your statement about feeling real good just before you take your ldn. yes I have the same reaction but I take mine every night at 9:30. So I feel pretty darn good by about 9:00 in fact I can usually lift my left leg up the steps to my kitchen at that time. I thought it was just me! Guest guest
Steve, for me it still is the same every day. Get up quite good, get very tired at 1 pm, sleep at least an hour, feel good until 4 pm, very tired until I take LDN at 9.15. Thats the only time I feel absolutely great. I have to be in bed around 11 because my kids wake me at 7 am. So for 2 hours a day I feel fine. Chey

Guest guest
, I've sort of been going through the same thing here. I try taking it at 9:30, and I wake up exhausted, and the alarm goes off here at 6 AM....if I take it at 10, I seem to wake up real cranky and agitated---but after an hour or so, both subside....it has gotten better the longer that I have been on it---and I also feel as the body is repairing, maybe it is " needing " more sleep. I often feel quite " awake " evenings, but find that I am not having any difficulty getting to sleep---also use a xanex before bed, which helps. Good luck. Guest guest
Definitely try taking it earlier. I take my between 10:30 and 11 PM , and feel energy in the morning, and am tired by night. Good luck.
