I've done a bit of a search through the messages about colonoscopy sedatives and candida but can't find a definitive answer. The prep i understand has aspartame in it i know but i am working out something with my doctor to replace it with a unsweetened laxative. What i would like to know is if the sedative used during a colonoscopy (Versed or something similar) is bad for candida? I have been making great progress on the diet recently, the die-off is all but gone and i am finally shedding the old candida riddled skin on my hands and feet. The last thing i want now is a major set back from this sedative business. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards.
