Guest guest
Thanks Chey Wow 4 weeks of side effects. How did you do it. I don't think I could have. You are strong and determined. That one night was so bad I almost went to the hospital. I was so afraid to take it the next night but glad I did. I haven't taken Ritalin in 3 days either. I take that becuase my fatigue is so severe I almost fall asleep driving and I have a long drive to work. Do you think Ritalin is something that I should not be taking with LDN. Has it helped any of your ms symptoms? Jean
Guest guest
I agree - just stopping the progression alone is well worth it. I take Ritalin for severe fatigue -- like falling asleep while driving. It works differently in adults than in children. In children it calms them down. In adults, it wakes us up. Thank Goodness for that.. This Dr. Bob's email address you gave me. Is it okay for me to email him. Is he a neurologist? Thanks. This group is wonderful. Guest guest
To be I only know Ritalin in use for ADHD children. Really don't know much more. Can you tell me what you take it for? Maybe you can ask dr. Lawrence (bob.lawrence@...), he's a doctor, I'm not (happy to say;o)) It was hard, the side effects, but the support of this group and 2 days of feeling very well (after a week LDN), made me go on! I really wanted to give up, gave it 1 more day, and the next day again;o) The insomnia (also exact at 2 am), the headaches, the flulike feeling, the dizziness, no walk in the park. But at the end, you'll notice its worth it. Just like others write here, maybe no actual improvement, but a stop to the progression is already worth a lot. Guest guest
Yes you can Mail him. He's very busy, so don't expect an answer too fast. Now you mention it, the psychiatrist of my ex-husband talked about Ritalin before. My ex is always tired. He did not wanna give it because you wil wear your body out and pass to many borders. I don't know, if it works for you, its ok right? Don't knopw in combi with LDN. Chey
