Sounds like you took a big fall!! Hope you feel better soon. I go

through periods when I seem to loose my balance a lot. Don't know

what that's about. Have you thought about inner ear? I know that

can cause people to loose their balance.

Take care,

Debbie/FL

Thanks Debbie. That could be the problem. It sure is humbling

though to pile up on the ground. It was so cute, it happened in the

parking lot at 's and two elderly ladies walked up and wanted to

help, another kind lady drove up to help and than my dear teenagers

were wanting to help, pretty cool how everyone was coming to my aid.

Hi All! Well, I really did it. Riding my bike and didn't " jump the curb " ,

as my 15 year old son says, and landed up kissing the sidewalk. Thank

goodness for helmets! I have bruises galore and aches in places that

haven't hurt for a while, but I'm just grateful that, since I started being

treated for AIH I've had enough energy to even pursue riding my bike! I am

sore, though, and haven't gotten back on since Friday, but hope to tomorrow,

otherwise I'll get chicken and have a mental block. I've got a steep uphill

from the house for the first part of my ride, but I've noticed that last

summer it was a whole lot more difficult-this summer, since I'm on the

medication, although it's still not easy, it's not as hard. Anyway, best

wishes go out to all, glad to hear is home, thanks for that post.

Hi All,

Something new to me:

A patient of mine was hit while riding his bike. He does not have a car or car insurance or personal insurance.

Do I bill the car insurance of the person driving the striking car?

Thanks for your help

Yes. The order of payors is: patient’s PIP, patient’s health insurance, adverse PIP. PIP treats bicyclists as pedestrians and allows coverage by the car’s PIP when they are hit by a car and there’s no other insurance available. T.
