Guest guest
Does anyone KNOW how long a mixture of Revia disolved in water will retain its usefulness. I am thinking of buying the Revia in the 50mg tabs , disolving them in 50ml of water and taking 4.5 to 5ml of the solution per night with a dropper. I simply can not find a source which tells me if the solution retains its stability and value long enough for this to be a viable method of obtaining the Naltrexone in a low dose form thanks
Guest guest
my pharmacist mixes my LDN in some kind of thick liquid and flavors it ew with bubble gum flavor, something I guess he had for the kids I take 1 ml to get the 3mg dose he gave the measuring thing too. Now a question Please...I take it between 9:30 and 10:30 every night but two nights a week I run a gift store that is inside a night club so I am up until 3 AM, I have been staying with the same time figuring it is still about 24 hours apart. Should I take it later?? since I am the one educating my Doctors on this I've no one to ask Thanks Z
Guest guest
well thanks to you I called the pharmacy that made the liquid LND and asked them about caps they said well sure we can compound it that way! I only have to have my doc put it on the perscription for next month when I go to 4.5 mgs and do I understand that I SHOULD take it at the same time each night even if I am staying up late?? Thanks for your help! Zil
Guest guest
If you go on the official LDN site http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/index.htm#What_is_low_dose_naltrexon e You'll read this warning: Cautionary warnings: Because LDN blocks opioid receptors throughout the body for three or four hours, people using medicine that is an opioid agonist, i.e. narcotic medication — such as Ultram, morphine, Percocet, Duragesic patch or codeine-containing medication — should not take LDN until such medicine is completely out of one's system. In addition, LDN should probably not be taken during pregnancy. Full-dose naltrexone (50mg) carries a cautionary warning against its use in those with liver disease. This warning was placed because of adverse liver effects that were found in experiments involving 300mg daily. The 50mg dose does not apparently produce impairment of liver function nor, of course, do the much smaller 3mg and 4.5mg doses. > Hi, > > >So how > come you had to stop taking LDN for the Codeine. Guest guest
I tried taking it later due to card games, visiting away from home, etc. over the holidays and that just sent my system into a tailspin. So from now on and allways I will take my pill along with me and when it's ten o-clock it's no big deal to take it at that time! It has made a diff in how it works on my system, I feel as if it is more regulated. Just in my experience. Guest guest
yes! a woman named on the low dose naltrexone is also PPMS for many years- i think 15 and the LDN has stopped her progression right in its tracks! she was steadily declining before the liquid LDN......i am going to send you her story and contact info....very nice woman and very informative.....good luck Lynn [low dose naltrexone] LDN in liquid form Hi All My name is and I am the list owner of ms-diet , a support group for those following the Best-Bet Diet. I am also taking 4.5mg LDN (for approx 2 yrs) in capsule/powder form, and have to say, I've seen no effect, and have continued a steady decline (I have PPMS diagnosed 7 yrs, and now use a wheelchair pretty much full time). I heard recently from one of our members, that many people seemed to be noticing the beneficial effects after switching to a liquid form of LDN. My question is - has anyone with PPMS noticed an improvement after taking the liquid form? Regards
Guest guest
Lynn, I think you are thinking about me, Rhonda, that when I tried the liquid LDN I had instant energy and everything got better which I recently screwed up by trying the generic. did have her MS stop progression but I think she is taking compounded LDN. I also tried the compounded but only one dose and I could tell not the same the next day but I never tried opening both the 3mgs and 1.5mgs capsules and making liquid. I wanted to go back to Bristol Myers Revia that was working and cheaper for me too. Now if I can just get back to where I was. I've been back on Bristol Myers Revia for 6 doses and got better but I feel some throb/burning today in my shins so I'm hoping it will soon go away and stay away. But we are having storms and the barometer may have something to do with it since it affects me so bad. When I started Dec. 17, 04 I did the crushed method until June and the pain was gone within a week so I'm wondering why it isn't going totally away fast now. I think in the 3 weeks on generic that my lesion may have become active again and that is why I felt symptoms. I'm mad about that generic and know it could just react that way with me and maybe not everyone since Bruce on the group has only taken the generic and says it works for his cancer. Bruce, is your generic made by Barr Labs too? I think anyone that hasn't got results from LDN should try the liquid method. After starting the liquid LDN I felt so normal and got motivation b/c I had energy again and could think clearly.
